Frequently Asked Questions
1. Are Fun Passes included in the price of the holiday?
We do not include fun passes as this allows us to keep the costs of the holiday down. It also gives our customers the choice on whether they want a fun pass during their stay.
Fun passes can be purchased on-site when you arrive. The cost of the Fun Passes change on an annual basis but prices (based on 2019) are usually around:
- £45.40 (adults; 7 nights; Peak Season)
- £23.90 (children 4 to 15; 7 nights; Peak Season)
OR
- £201.30 for up to 8 people (7 nights; Peak Season)
Peak Season: April [Easter Holidays] - Late May [Half Term] - Summer Holidays [mid July to Late August]
Please note that fun passes are free of charge for under fours.
2. What do the Fun Passes allow me to do?
The fun passes allow you to use the swimming pools and go to the evening entertainment and shows.
It really depends on what you want to get from your holiday and the make up of your group.
3. How do I pay for my holiday?
You can pay for your holiday via a BACS transfer (we will provide you with our details on request), cheque (made payable to Mr. G Parsons), Pay-Pal (3.5% surcharge applicable) or by cash. You will need to pay either a £50 deposit or 10% of your holiday cost (whichever is the greatest) to secure your holiday then pay the remainder at least 8 weeks before the holiday start date.
A housekeeping deposit payment of £50 will also be required (see below).
4. What happens to my housekeeping deposit at the end of my holiday?
The housekeeping deposit payment if made by a cheque will ONLY be cashed if the caravan is NOT left in a reasonable state (see question 5) when you leave and/or there is damage or missing items from our inventory when we inspect it. The cheque will be shredded following this. If you would prefer me to return the cheque please let me know in advance.
If this is paid via BACS or PayPal it will be refunded within 14-days following inspection of the caravan.
5. Do I need to clean the caravan at the end of the holiday?
We ask our guests to leave the caravan in a clean and tidy state when they leave. We provide a vacuum cleaner and cleaning material (under the sink) and would ask you to give the caravan a clean before you leave. We have a cleaner to come in and check the van after you have left and provide a deeper clean but due to the quick turnaround we would appreciate it if the holiday home is left clean and tidy before the cleaner attends.
6. Where do I collect the keys from?
When you have paid for the holiday we will send you details on how to collect the keys.
Keys may be accessed from 2 p.m. BUT we will endeavor to arrange an earlier pick-up time for you if this is possible e.g. if we have no guests in the van before you or the cleaner has finished cleaning the holiday home before 14:00.
If you have any problems on arrival please phone me (Graham) on my mobile.
7. Do we need to bring bed-linen, tea-towels and towels?
We do NOT supply bed-linen, tea-towels and towels so please bring them with you.
We DO supply duvets, pillows and coat hangers.
We DO supply cleaning material for cleaning during your stay (under the sink) and a vacuum cleaner, broom, dustpan and brush and mop and bucket (under the sink).
Bed linen can be supplied by Haven for a fee and a deposit.
